Software-wise, the 1440 comes with Windows 7 and a pre-installed 30-day trial of McAfee antivirus.

The only downside to this machine is it has no webcam. You can buy an optional USB webcam but it would have been better if it came with one out of the box.

The Sony Vaio E blue laptop is the latest in Sony’s line of affordable, high-definition laptops. The Vaio E features a deliciously large 15.5 inch screen, up to 8gb of RAM, and an Intel i5 processor.

The Vaio E blue laptop also offers up to 500GB of hard disk space, which in my opinion is one of its stronger features–I love portables with lots of space since I’m always on the go. With a huge screen and huge storage, it’s movie time wherever I go.

Other goodies include HDMI, webcam, and the Vaio-standard (recently anyway) “Web” button for instant surfing without having to boot. (It comes pre-installed with Windows 7.)

Price starts at $699, according to Sony’s official website. That’s not too bad for a high-def blue laptop.
