Dell is one of those brands that have become synonymous with accessible and affordable computers. The Inspiron 1440 laptop actually comes in all colors of the rainbow, but of course the blue laptop is the best

Inspiron 1440 features an Intel Pentium Dual Core processor, a 14 inch LCD monitor, 2gb of memory, and 250gb of hard drive storage–just enough for the student or the young professional who wants to do a little more than just work on his computer. If you want to play games, the 1440 also comes with a built-in Intel Graphics Media Accelerator video card.
Dell claims that the battery can last up to 8 hours, but experience tells me that battery duration claims are exaggerated by up to 2 hours. 6 hours isn’t all that bad however, and I’m pretty sure you won’t run out of places to plug your blue laptop in wherever you go.
Software-wise, the 1440 comes with Windows 7 and a pre-installed 30-day trial of McAfee antivirus.
The only downside to this machine is it has no webcam. You can buy an optional USB webcam but it would have been better if it came with one out of the box.
